  15. Hi, Charley. I came to your blog via Book Club Mom. Why, you ask? I see you identify yourself with the moniker “book and bakes.”

Do you like to read as you bake (or cook)? My blog post tomorrow talks about the reading-writing-cooking-baking connection. 🙂

  24. Good morning, Charley! Thank you for recommending The Lamplighters. I was completely engrossed by that book…and though I kept imagining what had possibly happened, it wasn’t clear until it as clear. It was a great read…

  26. Hello Charley. I am so glad to find your blog site. It sounds like we have a lot in common. I also teach (composition and literature at a local college), and blog about literature, the craft of writing, the arts, people and other things that inspire me as a writer. Look forward to reading your book reviews. I blog every Saturday; 9/16 I wrote on Sebastian Barry’s Booker-nominated novel; 9/30 I commented on Christina Rossetti’s Goblin Market; this coming Saturday, it’s Paul Harding’s Booker Shortlisted novel. Hope you look me up at http://www.mywriterlylife.blog. In the meantime, I’m going to dig into your long list of posts. So glad you are out there!
