Before it gets a bit crazy and everyone is in the roll of festivities for New Years Eve, I just wanted to wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
This community really is amazing. I’ve spoken with some incredible people with blogs I’m in awe of. I’m lucky to be a part of that and to know such lovely people.
Surprisingly, I have no big plans for 2017. I don’t plan on changing who I am or making any grand gesture. What’s the likelihood of sticking to it anyway?! What I do plan on doing is changing my focus and outlook on things.
This image kind of sums it up perfectly. So much so, I’m going to print it and pop it up in my classroom.
Whatever your plans are for this NYE I hope you all have a fabulous evening. I wish you health, happiness and peace for 2017. For me it’s a meal with my family, a big knit and a thick scarf. (See pic below) Then, we will crack open a bottle and sit watching the fireworks on tv. It takes all sorts I guess.
Big love guys. Make 2017 your year! Xx
I hope you all had an amazing Christmas filled with love and happiness. I had a lovely day with my parents and a flying visit to my nan. It was just wonderful really. I wish the same for you all too.
I couldn’t believe it when I saw I reached 700 followers on Christmas Day. I’m so shocked! I don’t think I deserve 700 lovely followers. I’m unpredictable, unreliable almost, but with the best intentions and a lot of love for this community. Thank you for continuing to stick by me even though I vanish for weeks on end. I promise you I am trying to sort my work/life balance. I’ll get there eventually.
Anyway, you guys are so awesome! To show my appreciation, I’ve uploaded a picture of my gorgeous bunny, Smudge in his Christmas hat. I hope you find this as cute as I do!
Big love to all xx

What a day to make yet another comeback. I can’t believe it’s Christmas Eve. I’m not quite ready (not my style at all!)
So, I want to wish you all a very festive, peaceful and lovely time of year. Enjoy the next two days. Fill them with love!
To spread the love further, I’ve included some of my favourite Christmas quotes from the Penguin Twitter feed. Lovely!
Aren’t they amazing? Thanks Penguin.
All that’s left is to share with you the obligatory Christmas tree lights of Stratford. Enjoy!
Have a great one guys!
Big love to all xx
Hope you’re all good.
Can you believe it’s December?! I can’t. I’ve no idea where November went. I feel like I blinked and missed it. (I feel like I say that every month, let’s face it.) But, last weekend I went with a group of friends on the ferry to Belgium. I’ve never been to Bruges before. It’s just so beautiful. A day there was not long enough. The autumnal trees were also rather gorgeous!
Despite the cloud, it was still so wonderful. I felt peaceful and calm. Sometimes we just need that space and tranquility.
So, we went exploring, did a lot of shopping, drank some beer, went to the beer museum and mooched about the Christmas market. Bliss!
This was one of my favourite shops. It had so many beautiful Christmas things in. The window above was just stunning. I’d wish to see it again, honestly. Oh and the chocolate! Mmmm.
This has to be one of the best weekends ever. I loved it. I will be going back. Bruges, you stole my heart.
I hope you’ve enjoyed my photos and my little weekend adventure. I sure did! Christmas is on it’s way guys, lets do this!!
Big love xx
